The Outback Watchman 4G Solar Water Monitor gives you remote visibility of water flow and usage from your bore, tank, irrigation or water transfer system.
Installed directly into the water line, the Watchman measures flow and sends monitoring data over the mobile network to an online dashboard, allowing you to check water production from your phone, tablet or computer.
Designed for remote Australian conditions, the Watchman is completely self-powered with a built-in 0.9W solar panel and rechargeable battery, so there is no need for mains power or Wi-Fi at the installation site.
It is an ideal addition to an Outback Solar Pump system where you want greater confidence that water is moving, visibility over total water usage, or an easier way to keep an eye on remote infrastructure.

No. The Watchman uses cellular connectivity through the included IoT SIM, so Wi-Fi is not required. You will still need suitable mobile network coverage at the installation site.
