Terms & Conditions Policy

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, quotations, and interactions with Outback Solar Pumps Pty Ltd(“Outback Solar Pumps”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing from us, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all retail, trade, and wholesale customers, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any additional terms agreed in writing (including trade or wholesale agreements) will take precedence over these general terms.

2. Product Information & Suitability

All product descriptions, specifications, flow rates, and performance data are provided as a guide only and are based on manufacturer information and standard operating conditions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure product suitability for their specific application, including (but not limited to):

• Bore depth and static/dynamic water levels
• Pipework size and layout
• Power availability and solar exposure
• Site and environmental conditions

If you are unsure, we strongly recommend contacting our team or consulting a qualified installer prior to purchase.
Outback Solar Pumps is not responsible for incorrect product selection made without consultation or against advice provided.

3. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.

• Retail prices include GST
• Trade pricing is quoted ex-GST unless stated otherwise
• Full payment must be received prior to dispatch, unless agreed in writing

Draft orders and quotations may be subject to expiry dates and stock availability.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Standard shipping is included on most retail orders within Australia unless otherwise stated.

Larger, multi-item, or bulky orders (including multiple pump kits or solar panels) may require freight confirmation prior to dispatch. Additional freight charges may apply due to weight, volume, packing requirements, or delivery location.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to carrier schedules, location, weather conditions, or third-party logistics providers. Outback Solar Pumps is not responsible for delays outside of our control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable delivery access. Additional charges may apply if re-delivery or special equipment is required.

5. Risk & Title

Risk passes to the customer once goods are dispatched from our warehouse.

Title of goods remains with Outback Solar Pumps until payment has been received in full.

6. Installation & Use

All products must be installed and operated in accordance with supplied instructions and applicable standards.

Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified installer where required.
Outback Solar Pumps is not responsible for damage caused by:

• Incorrect installation
• Misuse or modification
• Operation outside of product specifications

7. Warranty

Outback Solar Pumps offers a 24-month product warranty on eligible products unless otherwise stated.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only. It does not cover:

• Installation or labour costs
• Freight or removal costs
• Incorrect installation or application
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by dry running, sand, debris, misuse, or power irregularities

Warranty claims must be lodged with proof of purchase. We reserve the right to inspect, repair, or replace products prior to approving any warranty claim.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns are only accepted with prior approval.

Change-of-mind returns may be subject to restocking fees and return freight costs.
Special-order or custom-configured products are non-returnable unless deemed faulty.

Refunds will be processed once goods are received, inspected, and approved.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outback Solar Pumps is not liable for:

• Loss of income, production, crops, livestock, or water supply
• Downtime, consequential loss, or indirect damages
• Installation, labour, or third-party costs

Our liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the product supplied.

10. Trade & Wholesale Customers

Trade and wholesale customers may be subject to separate pricing, freight terms, and written agreements.

Unless otherwise agreed:

• Trade orders do not include free shipping
• Trade customers may arrange their own freight, subject to packing and documentation requirements
