At Outback Solar Pumps, we aim to make ordering simple and transparent. This page outlines how shipping works for retail customers purchasing online.
Standard Free Shipping (Australia-Wide)
Outback Solar Pumps offers standard free shipping on most retail orders within Australia.
Free shipping applies to standard ground freight using a carrier selected by Outback Solar Pumps.
What Free Shipping Covers
Unless otherwise stated, standard free shipping applies to:
- Complete solar pump kits
- Solar panels supplied individually or in small quantities
- Accessories when ordered with pump kits or panels
- Standard metropolitan and regional Australian delivery locations
Free shipping applies to standard road freight only.
Multiple Pump Kits & Large Orders
Orders containing multiple pump kits may still qualify for free shipping; however, in some cases:
- Increased size, weight, or volume may require palletisation or alternative freight methods
- Additional freight charges may apply
If additional freight costs are required due to:
- Packing configuration changes
- Increased shipment volume
- Carrier handling requirements
Outback Solar Pumps will:
- Assess the order prior to dispatch, and
- Advise the customer before shipping if a freight contribution is required
No additional freight charges will be applied without customer approval.
Multiple Pump Kits & Large Orders
Orders containing multiple pump kits may still qualify for free shipping; however, in some cases:

- Additional freight charges may apply

Remote & Restricted Locations
Free shipping does not apply to deliveries classified by freight carriers as:
- Remote or very remote locations
- Island deliveries
- Station, mine site, or off-road locations
- Locations requiring special access or handling
Where possible, Outback Solar Pumps may offer subsidised or quoted freight for these locations.
Express Shipping
Express or priority shipping is not included in standard free shipping.
Express shipping may be available on request and is subject to:
- Item size and weight
- Delivery location
- Carrier availability
All express shipping services are:
- Quoted individually
- Charged separately
- Confirmed prior to dispatch
Authority to Leave
Standard free shipping assumes Authority to Leave at the nominated delivery address.
Outback Solar Pumps accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage once goods are delivered to the nominated address.
If Authority to Leave is not suitable, additional freight or re-delivery charges may apply.
Inspection on Delivery
Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.
Any damage must be:
- Noted with the carrier, and
- Reported to Outback Solar Pumps within 24 hours of delivery
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect claim eligibility.
Incorrect Delivery Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Outback Solar Pumps is not responsible for delays, re-delivery fees, or additional freight charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.
Freight Discretion
Outback Solar Pumps reserves the right to:
- Select the freight carrier and delivery method
- Consolidate shipments where required
- Adjust shipping arrangements to ensure safe and cost-effective delivery
- Charge additional delivery fees where required
