Frequently Asked Questions

What type of property is the Outback Nomad suited to?

The Nomad is designed for rural properties requiring dependable water delivery from deeper bores for stock watering, tank filling, light irrigation and off-grid water supply. Its combination of 110m maximum head and 26 L/min maximum flow provides a strong balance of lift and water output.

Does the Outback Nomad include backup power capability?

Yes. The Nomad is supplied with an AC/DC MPPT controller, allowing it to operate from its supplied solar panels with the option of compatible AC or generator backup when required. This makes it suitable for properties where reliable water access is especially important.

What makes the Nomad different from the Pioneer?

The Nomad provides both greater lift and increased maximum flow. It delivers up to 26 L/min with a maximum head of 110m, compared with the Pioneer’s 18 L/min and 100m maximum head. This makes Nomad a strong choice for deeper bores requiring more daily water supply.
