Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Outback Digger designed for?

The Digger is the highest-head solar bore pump kit in the Outback range, designed for deep bore applications and demanding lift requirements. It delivers up to 26 L/min with a maximum head of 140m, making it suitable where lower-head pump models cannot provide the required water delivery.

When should I choose the Digger instead of the Nomad?

Choose the Digger when maximum lift is the priority. The Nomad provides a maximum head of 110m, while the Digger extends this to 140m for deeper bore installations or systems requiring substantially greater pumping head.

Why does the Digger come with more solar panels and longer pump cable?

The Digger is designed for deeper, higher-head pumping applications that place greater demand on the system. It is supplied with 4 × 450W solar panels and an 80m pump cable to support higher power requirements and provide additional installation reach for deep bore setups.
