The Hansen Leveller Valve for Solar Pump Tank Control is a high-performance reservoir and tank valve designed to help protect pumps, reduce unnecessary cycling, and improve water system reliability.
Unlike a standard float valve that opens and closes constantly as the water level changes, the Hansen Leveller Valve allows you to set both a minimum refill level and a maximum shut-off level. This means your tank can drop to a chosen low point before the valve opens, then refill to the desired maximum level before shutting off again.
For solar pumping systems, this is especially useful. It allows your pump to refill the tank in longer, more efficient run cycles instead of constantly switching on and off. This helps reduce wear, minimise water hammer, and support a more reliable off-grid water supply.
The Hansen Leveller Valve is suitable for rural, agricultural, irrigation, horticulture, domestic and reservoir applications. It is designed for both clean and dirty water conditions, works across low and high pressure systems, and features a soft open and close action to help reduce valve bounce and water hammer.
