The Outback Outrider is a versatile solar bore pumping system designed for properties requiring higher water flow for faster tank filling, livestock watering and general rural supply. Featuring a durable 3-inch stainless steel submersible pump, high-efficiency helical rotor and brushless DC motor, the Outrider delivers up to 34 L/min with a maximum head of 80m. Powered by a recommended array of three 450W solar panels, it is available with either a DC-only MPPT controller or Hybrid AC/DC controller for optional mains or generator backup.
Built for dependable operation in demanding rural environments, the Outrider is well suited to installations where moving more water throughout the day is a priority. Its intelligent MPPT controller helps optimise solar performance while providing automatic protection against low-water and abnormal operating conditions. Supplied with 40m submersible pump cable, 40m low-level bore probe and convenient plug-and-play solar connections, the kit is designed to make installation straightforward. Whether filling storage tanks, supplying livestock troughs or distributing water across remote properties, the Outrider provides reliable pumping capacity with a 24-month product warranty and Australian-based support.

Yes. The Outrider includes an AC/DC MPPT controller and is supplied with 3 × 450W solar panels for direct solar operation. Compatible AC or generator backup can also be used when required, providing additional pumping flexibility for rural properties.
Is the Outrider suitable for stock watering and tank filling?
Yes. The Outrider is designed for properties requiring stronger daily water output for stock watering, tank filling and general rural water supply. Its higher maximum flow makes it a practical choice where tanks need to be replenished faster than with the lower-flow bore pump models.
When should I choose the Outrider instead of the Nomad?
Choose the Outrider when increased water output is more important than maximum lift. The Outrider delivers up to 34 L/min with a maximum head of 80m, while the Nomad delivers up to 26 L/min with a higher maximum head of 110m. Outrider is better suited to faster tank filling from medium-head bores.
